On June 21, 2025, CBK Hardware, Inc. once again extended its support to Jacinto Zamora Elementary School in creating a better learning environment for students.
This initiative aligns with the UN Sustainable Development Goal for Quality Education (UNSDG – Quality Education) and is part of the Brigada Eskwela project led by the Department of Education (DepEd).
CBK partnered with Jacinto Zamora Elementary School to encourage and support students in developing their reading skills—an effort made even more vital by the ongoing challenges faced by the country’s education system.
CBKians from both the DPC and Service departments dedicated their time and effort in preparing reading materials and prizes for the students’ games. They taught the children how to read in both Filipino and English, making learning more engaging and fun.
To support the activity, CBK donated a total of 80 school supply kits, each containing pens, pencils, glue, scissors, sharpeners, erasers, envelopes, and bond paper—items specifically requested by the teachers based on the students’ needs. In addition, the company donated ACO Nest stand fans for comfort, Argo Power Padlocks to enhance classroom security, Westinghouse LED lights for improved lighting, and mosquito nets to help protect students against dengue.
This initiative is a testament to how we can make a lasting impact—one act of help at a time. Activities like this not only foster better reading habits but also build students' confidence and love for learning.
The children we help today are the leaders, innovators, and changemakers of tomorrow. It is our shared responsibility to nurture them, support their growth, and ensure they have the tools they need for a brighter, more empowered future.
