CBK Hardware, Inc. made a significant impact by leading with both environmental responsibility and community spirit. On July 20, 2024, at the GMA Kapuso Warehouse, the brand and procurement department showcased their efforts not only to bring joy to those in need but also to demonstrate a strong commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG): Climate Action.
CBK prioritized environmental stewardship by donating 120 hygiene kits containing bar soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toothbrushes, detergent powder, alcohol, napkins, cotton buds, and deodorant to the victims of the Mt. Kanlaon volcanic eruption last June in Negros Occidental. These kits are essential for promoting better health and reducing harmful environmental impact.
In addition to their climate-focused initiative, CBKians also volunteered to repack Noche Buena packages and toys in time for the holiday season. These packages, filled with bihon, corned beef, and a jump rope, were prepared to bring festive joy to children in need.
