CBK Hardware, Inc. stood among billions of people worldwide to observe Earth Month.
The celebration kicked off with “Earth Minutes,” a 30-minute period that happened last April 22 during which CBKians were encouraged to switch off electronic devices such as laptops, printers, and lights.
On April 26, the “5S for A Clean and Efficient Workspace” seminar was held to instill in the employees the importance of the 5S cleanliness approach. Conducted by Warehouse Manager Jay Plarisan, the event tackled different ways to keep the working environment clutter-free for increased productivity and efficiency. A post-assessment test was given to the attendees to measure their understanding of the online conference.
Capping off the month-long observance, CBKians had the chance to play games such as the “Sorting Game” where they had to segregate various types of waste according to their categories: plastic, metal, paper, and biodegradable. Meanwhile, the “Collect and Connect Game” mechanics asked the participants to solve five puzzles featuring the logos of CBK’s house brands: Aco, Argo, Axis, and Homer. The games were played by CBKians from the Binondo, Tambo, and Laguna (Mayapa) offices.
