CBK’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program is on a mission to lend a hand to the community by being compassionate to animals, caring for the environment, and sharing their knowledge and resources with the bible learners.
Last April, CBKians from the Brand, Procurement, and Sourcing departments visited the Pawssion Project Shelter in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. With pet food and cleaning materials in tow, they attended to the needs of rescued cats and dogs. They also handed the shelter trash bins from Eko, a Shop-Vac vacuum cleaner, and grocery essentials.
In May, the HR and Fairbanks teams joined the Department of Environment and Natural Resources - National Capital Region (DENR-NCR)’s regular coastal clean-up activity at the shoreline of the island of the Tanza Marine Tree Park in Barangay Tanza Uno, Navotas City. CBKians donated cleaning tools like shovels and gloves to the volunteers of DENR-NCR that will help them protect and conserve the mangrove and the rich biodiversity of Manila Bay.
For CBK’s June CSR program, representatives from Autorep, Information & Technology (IT), Purchasing, Masterdata Planning and Control (MPC), and Systems Applications and Products (SAP) departments enriched their faith as they volunteered to clean the St. Joseph Parish in Tambo, Paranaque. They also met the bible learners of Jesus Saves, a non-profit organization that shares God’s teachings with children. They turned over Westinghouse stand fans, cleaning products, and equipment from 3M.
