Last August 30 and September 01, 2023, CBK Hardware gathered the departmental leaders from the Binondo and Tambo offices for the 1st CBK Leaders Kumustahan. It was held at the CNC Building in Binondo, Manila.
The CBK Leaders Kumustahan was a two-day activity that aimed to reconnect fellow CBKians, share departmental achievements through dialogue and consultation, and strengthen each department with the company’s vision and goal this year.
CBK Hardware Executive Vice President Jan Vincent Cobankiat gave an insightful message to all CBK leaders: "I encourage everyone to be 1% better every day hindi lang sa workflow, maging sa personal na buhay.”
Meanwhile, CBK Hardware VP for Supply Chain Management Jan Wesley Cobankiat ended the session and reminded everyone, “We are all connected as one. We must stay hungry to learn new things and create something beyond the norm that will help you, the group, and the company.”
Respective department managers from Autorep, Dispatching, Document Processing Center, General Trade, Industrial, Human Resources, Master Data Planning Control, New Market, Projects, Receiving, SAP Internal Department, SCO, Warehouse, and Web and Digital attended the first-day activity.
On the other hand, leaders from Accounting, Administration, Brand Management, Disbursement, Executive Assistants and Purchasing, Fairbanks, Importation, Marketing, Procurement, Product Development, Property Management, Service, and Treasury Depository and Treasury Departments joined the second day of the event.
During the session, each department leader shared their department's achievements, challenges, and plans for their team and the company. In addition to engaging in consultations and dialogues with fellow CBK leaders, they seized the opportunity to foster better connections among co-leaders through a fun activity. One such activity was the back-to-back drawing game, where pairs of CBK leaders sat back-to-back, with one describing an image while the other drew it. The event also featured the Cup Stack Challenge, ensuring everyone bonded and had a great time.
To end the activity, every CBK Leader was encouraged to write their appreciation messages and suggestions for each department on paper and post them on the dedicated “Feedback Wall.”
