On August 16, 2025, the Accounting Department of CBK Hardware, Inc. went beyond numbers and spreadsheets to make a meaningful impact on the environment. The team participated in the “Trees 4 Sustainability” tree-planting activity held at Siniloan Forest Park in Siniloan, Laguna, demonstrating CBK’s ongoing commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable development.
This initiative aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) 12 – Responsible Consumption and Production, which encourages organizations to adopt sustainable practices and integrate environmental awareness into their operations.
The event was made possible through CBK Hardware, Inc.’s partnership with the Philippine Center for Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, Inc. (PCEPSDI), an organization dedicated to promoting responsible environmental practices among businesses and communities.
Together with other participating companies, CBKians took part in a collective effort to restore green spaces and contribute to a healthier, more sustainable ecosystem. Each CBKian actively planted tree saplings in the area designated for CBK Hardware, symbolizing the company’s growing advocacy for sustainability and care for the planet.
