In celebration of World Water Day on March 22, 2025, and in support of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (UNSDG) #6: Clean Water and Sanitation, the Brand Management and Procurement Departments of CBK Hardware, Inc. volunteered their time and effort to help protect the environment by participating in a cleanup drive at the Las Piñas-Parañaque Wetland Park. This initiative was made possible through a meaningful collaboration between Axis, one of CBK Hardware’s house brands, and CORA (Communities Organized for Resource Allocation), an environmental organization founded by Ms. Antoinette Taus.

CBKians worked together to remove waste and debris along the seashore, collecting a significant amount of trash, including soft plastics, plastic bottles, rubber, and other non-biodegradable materials that threaten marine life and coastal ecosystems. The cleanup activity was not just an act of service but also a powerful reminder of the importance of preserving our natural resources.

Beyond their physical efforts, CBK Hardware, Inc. also donated essential cleaning tools to further support the initiative, ensuring that the cleanup activities could be sustained even beyond the event. This contribution reinforced CBK’s commitment to corporate social responsibility and environmental sustainability, demonstrating that small actions, when done collectively, can create a lasting impact.

Through this partnership with CORA, CBK Hardware, Inc. continues to take bold steps toward sustainability, proving that innovation and environmental stewardship go hand in hand. As the company remains dedicated to building a better future, it encourages everyone to take part in preserving the planet—one cleanup effort at a time.
